I hope that Kevin doesn't mind this entry, but since I live in Madison, Wisconsin, I had the opportunity to attend his recent book signing at the Borders Store on University Avenue.

Kevin arrived in Madison on Sunday afternoon. He is a University of Wisconsin alumnus and still has a favorite pizza place in town -- Paisan's Italian Restaurant. We met there for dinner Sunday night. Paisan's is in a new location now with a great view of Lake Monona but the pizza is as good as ever.

The book signing was on Monday night. As luck would have it, the Green Bay Packers were playing the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football that evening. If you're from Wisconsin you know that Packer games affect the attendance at every event in the state. That didn't bother the group at the signing. They were interested in hearing about some new books that Kevin has in the works and capitalized on the smaller size of the crowd by asking a lot of questions. Some had the time to stay around after the signing to talk awhile.

Here are a few photos from the Madison book signing. As you can see, several Star Wars fans were there. Their costumes were very impressive.
