"Seven Suns" fans, the wait is finally over. Book #6,
METAL SWARM, was just released in
hardcover last week by Orbit Books. Originally scheduled for a July 2007
publication, METAL SWARM was
delayed when Warner Books was bought by another publisher. All five of
the previous volumes have been rereleased in paperback with striking new
cover designs.
The numbers for the first week are remarkable, with METAL SWARM selling nearly twice as many copies as the previous hardcover, already hitting #4 on the science fiction bestseller lists. The final volume, THE ASHES OF WORLDS, is still on track for a July 2008 release. Any fans of my Dune or Star Wars work will want to check out this epic series, the most ambitious project I have ever undertaken. -- KJA
