My old home city of Livermore, California has selected Frank Herbert's
DUNE for their upcoming "Livermore Reads Together" program.
"Livermore is invited to read together once more. This year the community is invited to experience the most powerful science fiction series of our time, Dune. Throughout February, the Library will encourage the people of Livermore to read, discuss, and share the series of books set in the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert, Brian Herbert, and Kevin J. Anderson." I will be there for the discussions and also the guest speaker at a special DUNE luncheon on February 24. This is a great opportunity for readers in an entire city to be introduced to Frank Herbert's classic. For more information, please check out their library website. I hope to see many of my San Francisco-area friends there. -- KJA
